Deleting your data
You can remove individual things from Commonplace at any time while keeping your account. Everything below happens inside the app, takes effect immediately, and is permanent unless noted.
Captures
A capture is the raw input you added: text, a voice note, a photo, a file, or a link. Open it from the Timeline, tap Options, and choose Delete capture. This deletes the capture, the memories drawn from it, and any pages it created, and restores pages it changed to how they were before.
Pages
Open the page, tap Options, and choose Delete. If the page has sub-pages you can delete only this page or all of them. To hide a page without deleting it, choose Deactivate instead; that can be reversed.
Items and rows on a page
Each list item and table row has its own options menu. Open it and choose Delete.
Reminders
Open the reminder and cancel it. Recurring reminders stop for good.
Chats
In the chat list, swipe a conversation or open its options menu and choose Delete.
Photos and files
Remove a photo or file from the composer before you send it. Once sent it belongs to that capture and is deleted with it.
Spaces
Deleting a space moves its pages to your default space. Nothing is deleted; delete the pages themselves if you want them gone.

Anything else
If there is something you cannot remove from the app, email support@commonplace.so from the email address on your account and tell us what to delete. We will do it within 30 days.
