Deleting your account
You can delete your Commonplace account at any time, from inside the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
From the app
- Open Commonplace and go to Settings, then Account.
- Choose Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete.
Your account is removed and you are signed out on the spot.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in details, including any Apple or Google link.
- Everything you added: text, voice recordings, transcriptions, photos, files, and links.
- Everything Commonplace organized from it: memories, documents, lists, reminders, and your personal card.
- Your notification registrations and usage records.
Nothing is kept. Some content may persist briefly in backups before being overwritten, and we may retain limited records where required to comply with legal obligations.
If you can't access the app
Email support@commonplace.so from the email address on your account and ask for it to be deleted. We will delete your data within 30 days.
